About
The Student Activities Office (SAO) strives to create and maintain a vibrant campus community made up of an extensive variety of student organizations, leadership programs, and community service opportunities.
WPI offers nearly 200 different clubs and organizations, and the SAO is in charge of overseeing each one to ensure that it runs to the best of its ability. The SAO is also responsible for coordinating campus activities such as visiting shows and comedians, as well as helping students to create their own university-recognized club or organization. Staff members offer a wide range of resources to ensure that students and their clubs succeed, and are available to offer help or guidance every step of the way.
